On December 19, 1974 Snowshoe Mountain dropped the ropes for the first time. Since then, the Mountain has changed and evolved to always provide the best skiing in the region. But the old adage still goes - the more things change, the more they stay the same. While we may not ride straight skis and surfboard shaped planks of wood, the passion and excitement for sliding on snow remains the same after 50 years.
